RICHARD GREEN

PRODUCER & DIRECTOR

Richard Green is president of Next Step Studios and founder of History of Cool. He is the Magician in David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive. A graduate of CalArts, he attended NYU Graduate Film School and worked at the Public Theater. Known for his international voiceover and music work, he produced David Lynch Presents: I Don’t Know Jack, directed the unique rhyming feature film, 7 Year ZigZag, and is now producing and directing I Know Catherine, The Log Lady.

JENNY SULLIVAN

PRODUCER

Award-winning theatre and film director, actor, writer, producer and life-long friend of the beloved Catherine Coulson. Favorite directing gigs at: The Wallis Annenberg Theatre, Geffen Playhouse, Royal Manitoba Theatre, The Acorn Off-Broadway, Long Wharf, Williamstown, Laguna Playhouse, Center Rep, Rubicon and Ensemble Theatre of SB. Jenny is most proud of the premiere of her play J for J starring opposite Jeff Kober and the late great John Ritter. Jenny also collaborated on several projects and birthdays with Catherine including two DWW/AFI films that Catherine produced and Jenny directed!

DONNA DUBAIN

Donna met Catherine in the 1960’s SF revolutionary theater company, Circus. She produced the films I Don’t Know Jack and 7 Year ZigZag and is a founding member of the both The Groundlings and Spolin Players.

WILLIAM HAUGSE

William Haugse ACE. Academy Award nominated editor and the writer/director of the award-winning "Breakfast in Bed," starring John Ritter and Jenny Sullivan, produced by Catherine Coulson. The two lived together for four years around the early 80s.

MARLIN SANDLIN III

Inspired by the work of David Lynch, started making Lynchian short films and later studied screenwriting at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media. His feature film debut came in 2017 with the dark comedy SCUMBAG (dir. Mars Roberge), on which he served as story editor.  In 2019, he directed the surrealist short film BLEEP and executive produced the short drama A Stark Reality (dir. Ronald Quigley), which have screened at film festivals around the world. A die-hard fan of both TWIN PEAKS and Catherine Coulson, Marlin was determined to make sure Catherine’s story reached her fans around the world. He joined the Kickstarter campaign, and has acted as an Executive Producer.

JANE ALBUSCHÉ

A retired reading teacher and magazine editor whose lifelong love of all things theater and film is her greatest source of delight. She was drawn to Catherine’s story (and Richard Green’s telling) for the surprises, insights into the creative process and moments of beautiful truth.

Prior to I Know Catherine, Jane’s greatest claims to fame were studying drama under Eric Christmas (Harold and Maude, Porky’s) and authoring the brilliant “Milli Vanilli” sketch at KVIE’s “Dr. Who” night Pledge Drive.
